Message Board Problems and other Login Issues:

The Web admin and Rhonda Findling do not do tech support for the message board. The message board has been tested and is found to be functional. Individual computer and browser setting can affect access and functionality to any website. We have determined that individual computers settings can affect access to the message board as well as posting privileges.

As a courtesy to members we have put together this tech support page so that you can help yourself with any problems that you may experience. You may find that you can use these suggestions not only to help you with access and posting problems here but also on other website that require a login and pass code.

Clearing your cache and temporary Internet files in your browser.

Here are instructions to clear your cache and temporary files for Internet Explorer 6.0:

  1. At the top of Internet Explorer, click the "Tools" button. This will bring up the Internet Options window.
  2. On the "General" section under the Home Page setting area you will see "Temporary Internet Files". Here you can click the "Delete Cookies" button and the "Delete Files" button.
  3. Under "Temporary Internet Files" section you can see the "History" section. Here you can clear your history (the pages that users on your computer have visited).

BTW on this screen, there is a place to set your home page (you can click "Use Current" to set your home page to the current page)

You will find that clearing these files will improve your browsing experience.

Having to login more than once:

  1. If you are having to login in anywhere more than once, it is likely due to the PRIVACY settings in your browser. To view and change these settings:

  2. Click the "Privacy" tab. Here you can adjust your cookie setting accordingly if you wish. Accepting all cookies will make is so that you do not have to log in more than once per session.

*DISCLAIMER: While we offer these suggestions, and many times most users can safely change settings in their personal computers, we are in no way implying that you should take these measures.
